Masood Azhar is “alive”: Report

Putting an end to all speculations on social media over Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar's death, quoting unnamed sources a Pakistani media report said on Sunday that he is "alive".

It may be noted that there was no official confirmation.

According to reports, Intelligence agencies in New Delhi have been trying to ascertain reports about Azhar's death in Pakistan.

Indian officials claimed that they had no information other than that Azhar was undergoing treatment at an army hospital after suffering renal failure.

The IAF in an air strike last week, following the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed, targeted the JeM's Balakot camp, where training was imparted to recruits to carry out suicide attacks.

After which the Indian government had claimed that it achieved a spectacular success by destroying the facility.
