As if clicking selfies were less of a reason behind several deaths, that in an incident a person had drowned while his cousin was busy recording a video on TikTok in a lake near Hyderabad on Tuesday.

According to report by news agency PTI, the deceased has been identified as Narasimhalu, 24, who allegedly did not know how to swim. In a video which went viral, it is seen that he is behind his cousin Prasanth filming their merry time in the lake.

After some time Prashanth realised that Narasimhalu was struggling as he went into deep waters. The cousin immediately rushed out of the lake seeking help. However, the 24 year old could not survive and was pulled out by local people.

Reportedly, Narasimhalu was visiting his cousin when they decided to go to the lake.
