Kid donates her savings to Kerala flood relief

While Kerala has been suffering from floods, an 8-year-old girl Anupriya from Vizhuppuram in Tamilnadu donates her four years of piggy bank savings around Rs 9,000 to the flood wrecked state for flood relief.

As per reports, daughter of K.C. Shanmuganathan and Lalitha, Anupriya had been saving her pocket money to buy a bicycle. However, the little girl has come forward to help the flood affected people.

After getting the news, cycle manufacturing company Hero Cycles contacted the girl and gifted her a brand new cycle. The gesture was widely appreciated after her story was shared on Twitter.

Hero cycles also offered a sum of Rs 9,000 to the girl, the amount she had donated to the Kerala flood relief fund. Though, her father refused to accept the money and instead requested every parents to encourage their kids to save money.
