Forget fuel prices. Non-subsidized LPG rates now increased by Rs 48

If the abrupt hike in fuel prices were not enough, common people of this country now also need to bear increased prices of cooking gas, i.e. Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Price of Non-subsidized cooking gas LPG has been increased by Rs 48 per cylinder from today in New Delhi. LPG will now cost Rs 698 rupees in the capital.

In Kolkata, LPG will cost Rs 723.50 while in Chennai it will cost Rs 712.50. Mumbaikars will now have to shell off Rs 671.50 for one cylinder.

The happiness is short lived for people entitled for Subsidized LPG. The price has been increased by Rs 2.34 per cylinder in New Delhi. It will now cost Rs 493.55 per 14.2 kilogram cylinder in Delhi, Rs 496.65 in Kolkata, Rs 491.31 in Mumbai and Rs 481.84 in Chennai.
