The spokesperson on China's Foreign Ministry, Lu Kang said that China reiterated its call for India and Pakistan to exercise restraint. Lu Kang made the comment on Wednesday in Beijing.
Earlier, Pakistan has claimed that it has shot down an Indian aircraft inside Pakistani airspace after Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted pre-dawn surgical strike in Pakistan knocking off terror camps and launch pads using a squadron of Mirage and 1000 kilograms of bombs that killed as many as 300 terrorists.
Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, while speaking at the plenary foreign ministerial meeting of the Russia-India-China grouping, blamed Pakistan's inaction against Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) for triggering the strike by the IAF across the Line of Control (LoC).
