Pratidin Bureau

In an encounter between militants and security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists have been killed, said officials.

According to officials, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Meemendar area of Shopian following information about presence of militants. It was only after militants opened firing towards the security forces, that the search operation turned into an encounter in retaliation.
