3 IAF Personnel Killed as Truck Falls Into Gorge

Three Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel were killed whilethree others were injured when a truck carrying them fell into a gorge inRajasthan's Barmer district on Wednesday.

Barmer District Superintendent of Police Shivraj Meena said that two of the injured are in a critical condition. The SP said that the truck carrying eight soldiers from an Air Force Station in Chauhatan town when it lost balance and fell into the gorge.

After the incident was reported, a police team rushed thespot and took the injured to a hospital in Chauhatan from where two jawans werereferred to Barmer.
