Women Trafficker Nabbed in Ramdia

In arecent development, one person involved in human trafficking has been nabbed bythe Ramdia Police on Friday.

Actingon a tip off, the Police led by OC Dimbeswar Pathak launched a search operationin Sastar village in Ramdia area under Kamrup district to nab the trafficker. Theaccused has been identified as Asad Ali. However, two other accused, identifiedas Maksed Ali and Imam Ali, managed to escape from the scene.

Itmay be stated that several women were lured in various ways by the racket. Theywere allegedly using Rangia Railway Station as a transit point.
