Wildlife Trafficker Arrested in Assam; 2 Elephant Tusks Seized

The tusks are believed to have been transported to Tamulpur for sale by the aforementioned perpetrator.

A joint operation by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SB) and the Assam Forest Department resulted in the arrested a wildlife trafficker on Sunday in Tamulpur.

They also seized two elephant tusks from his possession.

Saneswar Sutradhar has been recognized as the trafficker.

The elephant tusks are said to weigh about two kg.

The tusks are believed to have been transported to Tamulpur for sale by the aforementioned perpetrator.
