Wild elephant strikes again

Once againwild elephant terrorises Baksa-Udalguri area in the Indo-Bhutan border killingone person.

Theincident had taken place in Deosunga.

The deadhas been identified as Krishna Barman. According to reports, Barman came out tochase away the elephant during which he had been trod on.

The localresidents expressed disappointment in the forest officials for not beingpresent at the spot.

It may benoted that this is not the first or the only case of elephant terror, but ithas come to light that such incidents are rising in the Indo-Bhutan border.
