We will send 500 Bodo youths to Kashmir: Hagrama

Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary on Saturday said that BTC will send five hundred Bodo youths to Kashmir if a war breaks out with Pakistan. Visiting the home of martyr CRPF jawan Moneswar Basumatary, Mohilary also announced Rs. 5 lakhs to the family of Basumatary.

The Assam son was martyred in the terrorist attack in Kashmir Valley on Thursday. Basumatary hailed from Kalbari under Baksa district.

Speaking to media, the BTC chief said that if Central government declares war against Pakistan, he will send 500 Bodo youths to Kashmir. He added that BTC administration will pay the salaries of those 500 youths.

Mohilary condemned the attack and said that BTC administration will look after the family of the martyr Basumatary.
