Volleyball Player Kalpana Kalita Gets Financial Aid From Assam CM’s Relief Fund

Assam origin Indian volleyball player Kalpana Kalita on Thursday received a financial aid of Rupees 50,000 from the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

On behalf of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, his political secretary Jayanta Malla Baruah handed over the cheque to Kalita.

 "Kalpana Kalita from Koyakuchi, Nalbari is a volleyball player who represented Assam at national level. Being from a financially weak family she has faced many hurdles. Hearing her story today HCM Dr @himantabiswa sir provided her an assistance of Rs 50,000 from CM's Relief Fund," Baruah tweeted.
