Two persons were killed on the spot when a bus (AS-15-C-8111) hit their motorcycle (AS-01-DF-0348) on Sunday evening. The accident took place near Gorchuk in the city.

According to eyewitnesses, they died after the Glamour motorcycle, they were travelling in was hit by a speeding truck on the National Highway at Gorchuk. Eyewitnesses further added that the driver of the speeding bus failed to control his vehicle and hit the motorcycle. The duo fell off the bike and came under the wheels of the bus.

The deceased were not been identified yet and the bodies were sent for an autopsy. Initial probe revealed that the speeding bus from behind hit the motorcycle. Both the vehicles were travelling from Lokhra side to Jalukbari, informed police officials at the spot.
