Thief nabbed red handed in Morigaon

A thief has been nabbed by the locals of Basnaghat region in Morigaon on Tuesday.

As per reports the thief has been identified as Pranjal Sarmahresident of the same region. It has been alleged that, an owner of a residencehas been nabbed red handed when he was about to theft a fan. Moreover he hasbeen creating terror in the region since a last few days.

Reportedly, the locals nabbed the thief and then beaten himblack and blue and after cutting his hair, they knelt him down.

Police have reached the scene and rescued him from the mob and following to his information, police seized a television along with a mobile phone theft from different households.

It may be stated that, later police sent him to Morigaon Civil Hospital, for treatment.
