A student from Tezpur University committed suicide inside hostel room on Wednesday.

The student has been identified as Aditya Tati and was B.Tech final year student.

He was found hanging inside Patkai hostel room.

The deceased is a resident of Dibrugarh.

The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
