Teok incident accused roaming freely

In ashocking turn of events, the accused of the sensational Teok doctor killingincident, have been released by the police one after another, alleged severallocal organisations.

The organisationsalso alleged that the police are yet to arrest all the culprits involved in theincident and they are not taking the matter with adequate seriousness. The organisationsfurther said that several ruling party members as well as panchayat memberswere also involved in the incident.

"Wehave noticed that a BJP leader of the area, who was involved in the incident,has been roaming freely. He was detained by the police, but later released fromcustody," said a member of Assam Yuva Premi Chatra Samaj on Thursday.

Meanwhile,demanding justice for Dr Deben Dutta, the organisation has sent a memorandum tothe Jorhat Superintendent of Police.
