In asensational incident in 21st century Assam, a science teacher allegedly triedto sacrifice a child in Udalguri. The incident took place in Kulsipara areaunder Udalguri district on Saturday.

Asper the reports, the science teacher identified as Jadab Saharia allegedlytried to sacrifice the child, who is his relative. Saharia along with hisfamily members also set ablaze their house.

The police carried a five-hour long operation to detain all the family members of Saharia and rescue the child. Two journalists were brutally attacked by the family members of Saharia and were admitted to hospital.

However,the police have not made any statement regarding the incident as of now and arecurrently interrogating the detainees.
