Tarun Gogoi praises Sadin-Pratidin Group

Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who attended the sixth Sadin-Pratidin Achiever Awards at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra on Wednesday, said that he felt proud to be present at the ceremony.

"I feel proud and impressed to see that the ceremony of the Achiever's Awards 2019 organised by Sadin Pratidin Group," Gogoi tweeted.

Thesenior Congress leader also said that Chairman of Sadin-Pratidin Group, JayantaBaruah should be awarded by the Assam government for his dedicated service inthe field of media.

"While I was having a tea with Hon'ble Governor, CM, his Cabinet colleges [colleagues] and the Press Adviser, I was telling that Jayanta Baruah should be awarded for his dedicated service in the field of media and for his achievement in establishing the Sadin Pratidin group to such a height," Gogoi said, adding, "I have seen how he first started Sadin and today he has been able to establish himself in the top position in the field of electronic and print media, making great contribution in the field of media and particularly in focusing people's problem without fear and favour."
