Sushant Singh Rajput donates Rs 1.25 crore for Nagaland flood relief

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput donated a whooping Rs 1.25 crore to Nagaland on Tuesday as the state reels under severe rains and floods.

The 'M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story' fame actor donated the amount towards the Nagaland CM relief fund to rebuild the state after waves of floods wrecked havoc in the last few weeks.

Sushant Singh Rajput and his team personally handed over the cheque to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

Following the great gesture by the actor, Neiphiu Rio took to Twitter and wrote, "I thank Sushant Singh Rajput @itsSSR for standing with #Nagaland. He personally handed over a cheque of Rs.1.25 crore towards CM Relief Fund. I am grateful to him and everyone who has come in support of our state. #NagalandFloods  #DonateForNagaland".

The actor has recently gone on a philanthropic way as he also donated Rs 1 crore for flood relief in Kerala on August 21.
