South Karimganj MLA Siddique Ahmed Hospitalized

South Karimganj MLA Siddique Ahmed has been hospitalized after his health deteriorated. According to family sources, he was suffering from mild fever and developed chest pain on Wednesday. He was also having difficulties in breathing.

Dr. Abu Nasar Md Masroor diagnosed MLA Siddique Ahmed at a private hospital and later hospitalized. The doctor informed that Ahmed was suffering from shortness of breath, cough, and fever. The doctor informed that he has tested negative in the Rapid Antigen Test. "I have suggested for an RT-PCR test for confirmation whether he is infected with COVID-19," Dr. Masroor informed.

According to sources, the MLA has been admitted to Green Heals Hospital in Silchar.
