During an operation carried out by police, a smuggled timber laden truck (ML-06-9733) has seized at the Doulshal region in Mukalmua on Friday night.

As per reports, police have seized the truck while it was traveling to Barpeta from Meghalaya. Police have suspected that the smuggled timbers which had seized might be worthy of more than lakhs.

It may be stated that although police could seize the truck, taking the chance of the night, the driver and the helper of the truck could manage to escape from the spot.
