Pratidin Bureau

On Saturday, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) had staged a protest against Siddhartha Bhattacharya, the Education Minister of Assam and blocked the road at the Lengtisinga region in Abhayapuri.

As per reports, the protestor has burnt the effigy of Bhattacharya and alleged him as a dacoit.

They told, Siddhartha Bhattacharya is not eligible for the post of Education Minister. He doesn't know how to treat the teachers as he told them as the thieves and drivers a few days ago.

Moreover, the NSUI protestors added that Bhattacharya has been trying to protect the NGOs for commission and so he is still quite in the matter of providing low standard mid-day meals to the students.
