Tensed situation prevails in Tikir Gas Agency in Golaghat due to scarcity of LPG cylinders. Public alleged that they have not received cylinders for one week as the agency sold the gas in black.

The public also gheraoed the proprietor of the agency and ask him to explain the situation. However, the proprietor said that there is a scarcity of cylinders as it has not been delivered by Botolning Factory for which the customers might not get cylinders for the next two days.

He further denied the allegation made by the public of selling gas in black.

The customers are in a state of dilemma as on the one hand there is Durga Puja round the corner and on the other, there is no cylinder for which they have to face many problems.

Meanwhile, police also reached the spot to control the clash betweenthe customers and the gas agency.
