Sahitya Sabha to launch civil disobedience movement if CAB passed

Assam Sahitya Sabha has taken the decision to oppose the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. The decision was taken unanimously by the prestigious literary body at the 10th Annual Special Session of the organisation in Raha.

Informing about the decision a member of the Sabha told media that it would take legal action against the government, if government passes the Bill in Rajya Sabha. The Sabha also took the decision to launch civil disobedience movement if they fail in legal procedure.

These important decisions were taken during a meeting held on Friday.
