The Sachetan Nagarik Mancha (SNM) demanded investigation over the software company which has been used for the NRC work.

Expressingdissatisfaction over NRC, the Nagarik Mancha said that many names of indigenouspeople have been left out of NRC and therefore they demanded an investigationover the software company and also on Rs. 1200 crore which was spent on the NRCupdation process.

TheNagarik Mancha alleged that many have opened nursing homes outside the statewith the money that has been sanctioned for NRC work.

Theyalso alleged that many names of Adivasis, Koch-Rajbongshi have also beenexcluded from the final NRC and therefore, investigation is necessary.
