Sachetan Nagarik Mancha Demands Error-Free NRC

Expressing dissatisfaction over National Register of Citizens' (NRC) , the Sachetan Nagarik Mancha (SNM) has staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against the publication of it on August 31 and demands an error-free NRC.

The forum alleged that many names of foreigners' have been included inthe NRC and that it's Coordinator Prateek Hajela himself confessed about thebuying and selling of legacy.

The forum, therefore, demanded to register case against it and alsodemanded a CBI investigation into it.

The forum also demanded the Central Government that it should withdrawthe publication of the NRC on August 31 even by bringing an ordinance.

It may be mentioned that the Supreme Court of India has instructed theNRC authorities to publish the NRC on August 31 on any circumstances and thatit could not extend the date further as it was already too late.
