Ram Madhav hints on passing CAB in RS

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) , Ram Madhav said that the Citizenship (Amendment)  Bill 2016 would be passed in the next budget session at the Rajya Sabha.

Madhav  said that he protest by the various organization in Assam against the Citizenship Amendment Bill is justified. BJP has been trying to explain the alliance parties and the people of Assam about the bill.

He also appealed their former alliance party  Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) to rethink the separation with BJP. He said that the people of Assam wants the parties to be together.

The BJP is obligated to grant ST status to six indegeneous tribes of Assam, said Madhav.
