Pulwama attack: Protests, marches continue in Assam

The protest and candle light marches over the deadly Pulwama terror attack continue on Monday evening when people of the State came out on the streets demanding strict action against Pakistan and terror outfits.

Candle marches were organised at several places across the State such as Orang, Chirang, Tezpur and Dhing. Some protesters also burnt the effigies of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

40 CRPF personnel including Assam son Moneswar Basumatary were martyred in the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday. Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) suicide bomber rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the bus carrying the jawans.
