Pro talk ULFA leader Jiten Dutta detained

Pro talk ULFA leader Jiten Dutta has been detained by the police on Friday after the tragic incident that occurred on Dhola in Tinisukia District. The Sivsagar Police detained the pro talk leader from Gaurisagar. He was returning to Tinisukia from Guwahati. The police said Dutta has been detained as a precautionary measure after the Dhola mayhem in Tinisukia.

Dutta have been vocal against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) governments plan to implement the Citizenship Amendment Bill and threatened that there would be bloodshed in the state against who supported implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

Earlier on Friday another Pro talks ULFA leader, Mrinal Hazarika  was summoned by Panbazar Police station on Friday after the tragic incident suspecting his linkage.
