On Tuesday, a squad of Guwahati city police detained an aged woman from Bagna at Pathsala in Barpeta district for her alleged involvement in Panbazar bomb blast.
Based on secret information, Police detained Chandra Prabha Devi (67) a resident of Bagna village.
Reportedly, She contacted over phone with senior ULFA-I leader Nayan Medhi before the explosion.
Police took the woman in custody. However, After three hours of interrogation, she has been set free.
It may be mentioned, the outlawed ULFA(I) has taken the responsibility for the Panbazar blast on October 13.
ULFA(I) chief Paresh Barua took responsibility of the blast and said it was against the centre's decision of settling the Hindu Bangladeshi's in the state.
