Patient’s death outside MMCH sparks chaos

Death ofan ailing person in front of the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Panbazarhas sparked chaos in the Hospital on Wednesday night.

Accordingto reports, the diseased expired due to negligence on the part of the Hospitalauthorities.

It hasbeen alleged that the patient was released from MMCH without the completion oftreatment.

Thedeceased has been identified as Udalguri's Gokul Sasoni, who was admitted atthe hospital on Wednesday at 4 in the evening.

Theincident led to protest outside MMCH along with the body of the dead.

Police andparamilitary forces reached the spot to bring the situation under control.
