Strong vigil on ILP in Arunachal, immigrants stopped

Patronage of All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) implemented 'Operation Clean Drive' across the state of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday. During the drive huge number of Inner line Permit (ILP) violators were caught in Pasighat, East Siang and Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The drive was headed by All East Siang District Students' Union (AESDSU) President, Oyin Yosung and General Secretary, Tonong Darang in East Siang and they managed to detect 90 ILP violators and handed them over to police.

While under the patronage of All Upper Siang District Students Union 70 cases of ILP violators were detected at Geku, Katan circle etc.

"The 'Operation Clean Drive' will be continued till the illegal foreigners, especially from Bangladesh and illegal permit violators are not fully removed and deported out from the district," said Tonong Darang, General Secretary, AESDSU.
