NRC: Forgery of documents by Ex-MLA

Aheadof the publication of NRC, it has come to light that former Dhing MLA MustafaShahidul Islam has forged documents to get his family's name included in thelist. The Ex-Congress MLA has also submitted documents in two different NRCSeva Kendras.

Accordingto reports, Islam had submitted NRC applications in Moirabari area as well asin Dispur area. It has come to light that there was a huge difference betweenthe legacy data submitted in both the NSKs.

Interestingly,the Ex-MLA mentioned two different names in place of his wife in both thecentres. He mentioned his wife's name differently in both the NSKs. In Moirabari,he mentioned his wife's name as Monjula Haque, whereas in Dispur, she has beennamed as Saleha Begum. However, his children's name remained same in both the NSKsas Aminul Islam and Shahnaz Mustafa.

Furthermore, in the application submitted in Dispur NSK, the Ex-MLA mentioned one Runa Begum Barbhuyan as his sister but his family members denied her being his sister.
