NPP candidate Abdul Aziz’s convoy attacked in Rupahihat

The convoy of NPP candidate Abdul Aziz from Kaliabor constituency was allegedly attacked near Rupahihat area on Thursday afternoon. Two supporters of Aziz identified as Surhab Ali and Abu Taher sustained injuries during the attack.

According to reports miscreants pelted stones at the vehicles of Aziz's convoy and vandalized the vehicles. "We were returning from campaigning when stones were pelted on our vehicles. Glass windows of our vehicles were shattered. Stones and bricks were thrown at us," said a worker of NPP.

Meanwhile, Abdul Aziz has filed an FIR in the Rupahihat police station regarding the incident. Aziz was former MLA of AGP from Rupahihat.
