North Guwahati gets Ro-Ro ship & 3 other vessels

CM Sarbananda Sonowal, Finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Minister of Industry and Commerce, Chandramohan Patowary have launched the new ro-ro ship that will travel from Guwahati to North Guwahati and 3 other vessels.

The ro-ro ship has a capacity to carry 12 trucks at one go, for a total capacity of 15 tonnes. Its length is 57 metres and width is 15.2 metres. A project of a mini-stadium in north Guwahati has been launched in the same day.

The new inductions would boost waterways communication between Guwahati and North Guwahati.
