Niraj Chetri’s Mortal Remains To Arrive Today

Body of Niraj Chetri, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawan martyred on Sunday in a Maoist attack at Kathalia village in Jharkhand's Dumka district, will arrive at his hometown in Gohpur at around 4 pm today afternoon.

Hundreds of people have already gathered at his residence to pay their last tributes to the slain soldier.

Chetri joined SSB in 2014. He was a resident of Kaoripathar Karibil Nepali village in Gohpur.

Sources informed that Chetri was suppose to tie the nuptial knot in coming December.

It may be mentioned here that apart from Niraj Chetri, another SSB personnel Constable Rajesh Rai was also seriously injured in the attack on Sunday.
