Jute-Laden Truck Catches Fire in Nagaon’s Kaliabor

According to sources, the truck carrying over 12 tonnes of jute was on its way to Jute Corporation of India (JCI) at Uluani godown in Kaliabor this morning when it caught fire after coming into contact with live wires on the road.

A jute-laden truck caught fire at a godown in Nagaon’s Kaliabor on Wednesday morning.

According to sources, the truck carrying over 12 tonnes of jute was on its way to Jute Corporation of India (JCI) at Uluani godown in Kaliabor this morning when it caught fire after coming into contact with live wires on the road.

Later, the fire was doused with the help of the Kaliabor fire tenders.

No casualties were reported during the incident.
