Multiple accidents reported from Assam claiming three lives and several others injured on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

In anaccident at Chapar town in Dhubri district, one man died and two otherssustained severe injuries in a head on collision between a trailer and a Boleropick up van. The deceased, the driver of the Bolero has been identified as RoseSheikh while the injured persons have been identified as Anuwar Hussain andAzizur Rahman. The accident took place at National Highway-17.

However, theinjured persons were rushed to the Chapar Hospital and were later referred to ahospital in Bongaigaon.

In anotherincident, a tragic road accident occurred at National Highway in Madhav Dham ofBadarpur. A person died and 9 others were severely injured in a head-oncollision between a Traveller and Maruti Alto. The injured were rushed toSilchar Medical College and Hospital and the deceased has been identified asManilal Namasudra.

The body ofthe deceased has been sent to Karimganj Civil Hospital.

The no ofthe traveler is AS-01-FC-8494 and the Alto Car No is AS-10-F-7975. Badarpurpolice have recovered the two vehicles.

Anotheraccident has been reported from Sarbhog in Barpeta district where a bike riderhas died on spot after he was hit by a vehicle. The accident took place atNational Highway over the Bridge of Beki River.

The deceasedhas been identified as Sanidul Islam of Howly in Barpeta.

The Pulsarbike No is AS-L-5794.
