Miscreants Burn Down Queen Oja’s Campaign stage

With only few days for the second and third phase of Lok Sabha Elections, violence pertaining to electioneering is on the rise in across the nation as well as in Assam.

In a violent incident, miscreants have burned down the stage of a meeting where Guwahati BJP candidate Queen Oja was scheduled to electioneer on Friday.

The incident has occurred Thursday night in Boko. It may be noted locals in the area doused the fire in the early hours of Friday. The meeting was organised in support of Oja by BJP ally BPF.

Meanwhile, police immediately reached the spot and started their investigation.
