Two Cotton University students have been beaten up by miscreants on Friday.

The General Secretary candidate of Cotton University elections Nabajit Dutta who was attacked at Japorigog and was severely injured in the incident. Another guy, Trinayan was physically assaulted in the same incident.

It is to be mentioned that the attack on the students were done a day before the University Students Union polls and is suspected to be election centric.

Both the students were admitted to Nemcare Hospital after the incident. A complaint have been lodged at at Dispur police Station.

The incident, a day before the students election have created a sense of fear among the University Students.
