A massivefire broke out in Tihu's Sialmari, in the wee hours of Thursday. The firegutted 10 commercial establishments damaging property worth lakhs.

The incident occurred at America Chowk.

Localresidents attacked fire service vehicles alleging that they reached quite lateat the spot. It took nine fire vans to douse the massive fire.

It wasafter the presence of the police that the situation came under control.
