A devastating fire has taken place at the Garmur region in Majuli on Fridaynight.

As per reports, four shops of the region along with property worth of lakhs had completely gutted down to ash but due to the quick initiative of the fire tenders, the fire has come to control.

It has been suspected that the fire had blazed out due to a short circuit.
