In a terrible incident, a man named Dhunda Bhumji has been killed by a rhinoceros in Kaziranga's Hatikhuli tea garden on Friday . The rhino attacked Bhumji and severely injured his chest and back.

Locals of the area are in shock and outrage against the Forest Department following the incident as similar incidents occurred in the past.

Earlier on September last year forest guard was attacked and seriously injured by a rhino at the Rangamotoria forest camp in Kaziranga national park.
