Man Electrocuted In Sualkuchi

In an unfortunate incident, a man was electrocuted to death in Sualkuchi's Bansar  on Monday.

The person has been identified as Narayan Deka .

Deka was electrocuted when he came in contact with a disconnected wire of  11,000 volt from a pole. The locals said that the man who is a farmer went to the paddy fields and while returning  home he came in contact with the disconnected wire and died instantly.

Locals of the area are in shock and outrage following the incident.

Earlier in September, six persons, including children, were charred to death when an APDCL high voltage overhead power line snapped and fell on a pond at Khatowal in Juria.
