Jamuna Boro enters Semis in WBC

Indian amateur woman boxer from Assam, Jamuna Boro enters Semis (51 kg) of Women's World Boxing Championships as she beats Ursula Gottlob of Germany 4:1.

She ensures the 3rd medal for India in the Championships.

22-year-old Jamuna Boro, whose mother worked as a vegetable seller to financially support her sporting aspirations, is a World Championship medallist now!

She also represented India at international competitions. She won a gold medal at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament held in Guwahati.
