In a sensational incident at Lanka in Hojai district, a husband killed his wife and hides the body in the house. The deceased has been identified as Bhagawati Devi of Kaki in Lanka.

The incident took place at Tarali Gaon in Kaki where the wife has beenmurdered by her husband and her body has been kept in the house.

Kaki Police rescued the body from the victim's house after the localsinformed the incident. The locals suspect that the incident took placefollowing the selling of a cow.

The police have arrested the husband Premchand Chouhan.
