Hailakandi: Curfew extended for another 24 hours

Hailakandi administration has announced that curfew has been extended for another 24 hours, that is, the curfew will continue till Tuesday 7 AM in the violence struck district.

It may be noted that it has been decided to give a six-hour relaxation from 9 AM to 3 PM today, during the curfew period.

Internet services continue to be suspended in entire Barak valley region.

Earlier, violence between two groups during the first namaz of Ramzan, which claimed one life and left several injured, let to the imposition of the curfew in the district on Friday.
