Guwahati: Pandu Reports 53 COVID Cases Today

Pratidin Bureau

A total of 53 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the Pandu area at Maligaon on Tuesday. The health workers who went to receive the COVID positive patients to bring them to the hospital have faced problems as the patients have refused to go to the hospital without a report.

The patients demanded their medical report whether they have actually tested positive or not and only then they will go to hospital for treatment.

Notably, the COVID-19 cases in Kamrup (M) are increasing at an alarming rate. The state government has also imposed lockdown in Guwahati due to the rising scenario of COVID-19 cases.
