The Special Task Force (STF) in Guwahati today claimed to have busted an international gang of vehicle thieves. The gang is involved in many cases of vehicle theft.

The accused have been identified as Mujakir Hussain Borbhuyan (40), Tarifur Rahman (31), Hafijur Rahman (30).

"We found that they are notorious thieves and are facing several cases of vehicle theft" : STF Official said.

Allegedly, the gang has been selling the stolen vehicles with new registration in support of transport officers.
