An accident that occurred on Saturday night near Saraighat bridge has left one person severely injured.

The unprecendented incident took place when a dumper hit a truck that was at halt near the bridge.

The dumper driver identified as one Samir have been injured and has been admitted to the hospital.

Later, Jalukbari police were present at the site of the incident to investigate into the matter.
